The GSSHWWDB was established as an open resource to enable preservation of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breed through the collection, maintenance and sharing of health and ancestry records.

 

Our organization seeks the support of owners, breeders and fanciers throughout the globe to help continually upload information to the database and supply photo images. It is our hope that this information serves the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog community as an important tool in assessing health, studying pedigrees, and making more informed breeding decisions.

 

Through collection of data, we as a community are better able to assess health trends in our breed. Please note that our site is free from commercial advertising, tracking and pop-ups.
